The National Centre for Sensor Research (NCSR)
The National Centre for Sensor Research (NCSR) is a world renowned, large-scale, multidisciplinary research facility focused on the science and applications of chemical sensors and biosensors. Established in 1999 with funding of €12 million from the Higher Education Authority (PRTLI Cycle 1), the centre now boasts 26 Principal Investigator Members from the Faculty of Science and Health at Dublin City University. This video was produced in early 2009 to promote and demonstrate the centre's research.
The Centre for Next Generation Localisation (CNGL)
The Centre for Next Generation Localisation (CNGL) is a dynamic Academia-Industry partnership with over 100 researchers developing novel technologies addressing the key localisation challenges of volume, access and personalisation. Sixsem produced three videos for them in 2009-10; the first of which introduced and explained Localisation, the second of which addressed the history and future of localisation in Ireland and the third one illustrated the structure of the CNGL research. Above is the first video.
