The INFOMAR programme is a joint venture between the Geological Survey of Ireland and the Marine Institute. Covering some 125,000 km² of Irelands most productive and commercially valuable inshore waters, INFOMAR concentrates on creating a range of integrated mapping products of the physical, chemical and biological features of the seabed.
"Our goal was to produce a short video promoting INFOMAR – Ireland's national seabed mapping programme and working with Sixsem has helped us achieve that goal. We perhaps underestimated how difficult it would be to capture in a short video all the different aspects of the programme but Sixsem quickly grasped an understanding of what INFOMAR is about, guiding us through the options and making it a simple process. We discussed in detail with the Sixsem team how we could best illustrate what INFOMAR is about and also highlight the value and economic benefit that seabed mapping brings to Ireland. We found the Sixsem team to be professional, creative and efficient at all times. We are very pleased with the final product and look forward to working with Sixsem again in the future."
